Quite of few requests started coming to our direction about this topic. No clear answers were available until recently and this was tested in-house and it works...
Here is what you need to do and must have.
On a machine with network client installed, insert one of the CDís containing the video clips required. Then, start network client and wait a few seconds for network client to scan the cd drive for a video database. From Network Client, select the video clip of your choice from the tree with a right click and pick export to AVI from the context menu. You can repeat the operations for the other CDís and then you can burn all the AVI files to a single cd or DVD. You will be able to use windows media player at that point to view the new video clips.
Note: Some courts do not accept video in AVI format as evidence since this is not a secure format. The Intellex proprietary format prevents any tampering and can be used for evidence. Please verify on your end which format is required for this situation.
If you are using Vista, please make sure to follow the instruction here: http://www.cctvhelp.com/showthread.php?t=239
With above procedures, you can make better presentation of your case in courts or otherwise by selecting clips of your choice.
Have fun and give us some feedback if you are using this procedure.
